Its Not Over til the Fat Lady Sings – What’s Next After My First Bikini Competition

Its not over til the Fat Lady Sings….

Well, there is no fat lady in this case because she is GONE! Instead there is a hot new confident sexy woman in her place!

I didn’t start this journey to ‘place’ – my goals were slightly different – but then the competitive side of you creeps in there and you want it. But honestly, I know I did what I could and I got SO much more out of this than just placing….

This experience was AMAZING. I met some AMAZING women and have made some friendships that will last a lifetime.

I have more confidence in myself than I have ever had before in my whole entire life. I know that I can do ANYTHING I put my mind too and can come out on top.

And if anything I’m PROUD of myself for starting, continuing and finishing this journey – for doing something I never thought I would ever do – for stepping on stage for the first and second time ever – for getting into the best shape of my life – for being successful and doing something despite being surrounded by people who thought I couldn’t and who didn’t understand…I’m proud of myself for accomplishing my goals and bringing myself closer to a better future for myself….

I learned so much about myself – how I handle things – what I am capable of – how I can change my body.

I have more drive and focus to make myself even more successful and to create the life I want to have. I have the desire to put myself out there and create and take advantage of opportunities that I may never have had or though of before.

Overall, the experience was more than just the 2 minute walk on stage and worrying about what the judges thought. What really matters at the end of the day is me – how do I think I did? What did I get out of this? Did I accomplish my goals? And what will I do with the opportunities and the new found confidence?

Some of those questions have been answered in this post…while some have yet to be answered…..but life is the best journey and I’m just at the beginning of this ride….
