With summer around the corner – which means tank top season and sleeveless dresses – its time to pump up the upper body workouts and get our arms tight and toned. This week’s flat stomach workout of the week is a change from the usual routine – spicing up your usual routine and increasing results.
Changing up your workouts every few weeks is not only beneficial to your body but to your mind as well. Personally, if I do the same workout for more than 4 weeks, I start to get bored and my focus falls off. Not only do YOU get bored, but your muscles get bored too.
In order to see the maximum possible results you need to change up your workout. Changing up your movements – doing different exercises to target the same muscle groups – works each muscle just a bit different – targeting a different part of the muscle. Doing this ensures that you are always making forward progress and burning fat.
This week’s flat stomach workout targets the upper body. No woman wants flabby arms, especially with summer just around the corner. Instead of using weights, this workout uses a resistance band. Resistance bands add another dimension to your workouts – they provide tension throughout the movement. This extra tension works your muscles longer, which increases fat burning results.
Another great part of this week’s workout – you can honestly do it anywhere! Once you BUY A BAND – you can do the workout at home or at the gym or even in your hotel room while traveling.

Melissa,
Thanks for posting these resistance band exercises. I clicked the link to purchase a resistance band but there is no guidance on the site on which band to purchase for a person’s strength level. Any suggestions?
