Flat Stomach Workout: TRX Upper Body Workout

If your winter has been anything like mine – you’ve been stuck inside for WAY too long! Last week the weather finally reached some warmer 2-digit numbers and the sun tried to stay out for more more than 2 hours which meant I could FINALLY get outside to try my NEW TRX Straps!

What is TRX?

Just in case you don’t know – TRX is a suspension training workout system that works your WHOLE body in every workout. It is lightweight, portable and adds a fun new element to your normal workout routine. Adding TRX to your workouts will not only help keep your mind sane, but it will keep your muscles guessing about your next workout. The video below shows a quick upper body workout that you can do with the TRX. Even though the movements in this workout focus specifically on sculpting your upper body muscles, the TRX requires you to use every muscle in your body to stabilize yourself during each movement.  So, even though you may only be doing a push-up you need to make sure that your core, glutes and legs are tight to keep you from swinging around – and hitting the tree!
